Class Blog

Teachers and students in the West Hartford community now have the opportunity to participate in the blogging world.

Look over the links on the left. Here you will discover how to navigate the site to find helpful links and places to post your comments and assignments.

By Wednesday January 11, 2006 please respond to the Alcohol and Advertising discussion topic.

There is an optional discussion post area available now.

This week students will be choosing a health topic to research for their final project. A list of resources will be compiled by students in the course of their work. What makes this project particularly exciting is that students also choose the format for presentation. Some students are making Jeopardy style games, others are using Squares or Millionaire templates and some are choosing FrontPage to create web pages!

  • Which topic did you choose?
  • Give a brief reason why you chose that topic
  • List 2 valid sources of information on that topic and explain why
  • What technology tool are you using to present your work?
